365/294 - Blossoms
Gorgeous sight just outside one of my doors - I can almost touch the nearest branch while still inside my classroom.
365/290 - Comets
Two of our comets died and the remaining one (the largest in the photo) was lonely so Emma and I bought some new friends: black tail=Teal'c; other medium size=Jack; smaller comets=Mulley&Scalder ; and the remaining larger one is the blond guy (Langley) from the lone gunman.
And for those confused people they're all characters from TV series we've enjoyed over the years.
365/289 - Wheel of Time
For some reason I've never read this series - my son Jon, his friend Simon and are competing to see who finishes first.
365/288 - house watching
I've been watching people down the road working on this house - first they pulled most of it down (to the bare frames) and now they're recreating it.
365/287 - Stuff
I won this t-shirt via @NZStuff on twitter - promised them I'd wear it to school. Very happy to have another new black t-shirt - perfect for school.
365/285 - Flowers in his hair
On a wander around the school looking for shapes in nature a couple of boys ended up wearing their flowers.

365/283 - New Office Entry
This is the new entry into our brand new refurbished office area at school.
365/281 - Pagoda Memories
The last time I ate here I was 7 months pregnant with Emma who turns 23 on October 11th.
365/272 - Boiling Bubbles
This is a tiny boiling hot pool beside the lake. (And yes i did stick my finger in it to test the temperature!)
365/262 - Kookaburra
Kookaburra sitting on top of Captain Cook - and no I don't know why he was dressed!
365/249 - New Baby
This is my brand new MacBook Pro. I get it for free - really! It's paid for by our Ministry of Education and my Board of Trustees and is part of a laptop scheme we have here in NZ for all teachers. It's supplied to me on a 3-year lease (the school pays something like $70/quarter to lease it) and at the end of the lease I get the option to purchase if I wish - which is how I also have an iBook and a MacBook in my classroom.
