With the soft affect of it and the subject I find myself with tears rolling down my face.
My sister was a teacher in Wellington. Through her morphine induced haze lying dying in the hospice she composed a speech for each for us.
To me she said, "Thank you for putting the chairs up."
She was thanking me for quitting my job for a time to be with her, helping her pack up the classroom one last time and helping her through her final days.
Interesting how a photo may affect a person.

Thanks for the photo.
I haven't had a good cry in a long time.

Wow - that's really bittersweet isn't it.
