Day 25 - Haere Ra
The problem with long distance relationships is that you have to say goodbye. Unless one of us comes into lots of money it will be 22 months before we get to spend time together again. Thank goodness for skype!

Day 3 - Twitch
This is our cat Twitch - he's around 17 years old - @spacey and I were talking a few days ago and worked it out. Then she worked out that means he's like 89 years old or something. Man that's old. He's still quite agile - I discovered him drinking out of my toilet today! And crafty - I have an armchair I like to sit in (where I am now actually) and he generally snoozes on my bed - but if I get out of my chair - he's in it before it's cooled down!

Day 1 - And they're off
Day 1 of 2011 and what could be more fitting for a first photo than this one - an impromptu horse race on the beach - one of the riders is a former parent of mine from school and since they couldn't decide how to start I became the race starter!
2011 - A new year dawns
Well I made it through 2010 with my 365 photos. Some photos were a little fudged but I have to say I probably took more photos (outside of school stuff) in 2010 than in any year before.
So to this year. 2011 has already dawned here in NZ - 21 hours ago. I'm going to approach my 365 photo challenge in a more relaxed manner this year. If i miss a day - never mind.
Probably most of the photos will be taken with my iPhone - with the ability to upload on the go it's very handy.
I'm going to number my photos by the day I took them - hence today's photo is Day 1! That way I just need to know the day number rather than what number I'm up to!
365/365 - Bumbling around
It's fitting that I end the year with a photo of a hydrangea as I started the year with one. Can you see the Bumble as well?
