The problem with long distance relationships is that you have to say goodbye. Unless one of us comes into lots of money it will be 22 months before we get to spend time together again. Thank goodness for skype!
This photo matches your mood I suspect... The colours and the shadows make it all feel quite morose... :'(
Yes airports are places of such joy and sadness all at the same time.
@Claire - quite hard driving home from the airport - and hard getting to sleep last night too.@Allanah - you're right - I should be getting used to it by now.
Hi Joe, I saw your photo on instagram but this didn't have your caption. It bought back memories for me. My partner is from the UK and we met in NZ. He has since immigrated to NZ. Those miles between us when he lived in the UK were very hard and skyping wasn't an option then because he was working all over Europe and was rarily at his home. I remember one months phone bill being $800. Bugga! That didn't happen again. That was just 3 years ago, technology keeps us better connected now.Thinking of you heaps!
@Mel - thanks - it's hard but we're both philosophical about it ... we have a 5-year plan ...
